The new MAN truck generation with the D26 engine in Euro 6d consumes up to eight percent less fuel compared to the previous version with Euro 6c. An official achievement that TÜV SÜD has confirmed during a test drive.

“We know from the Supertest that the new MAN has become significantly more fuel efficient,” says Wolfgang Obermeier, TRUCKER magazine tester and driver trainer at the Hubert Hörndl AG freight forwarder. The company had extensively tested the new MAN with some of its drivers.

Behind the positive result is a highly efficient combustion principle, which our expert Pawel Lukasiewicz from Product Marketing at MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH presents in a video. In addition, the use of a new rear axle, improved vehicle aerodynamics and the use of the new MAN EfficientCruise® make a significant contribution to increasing fuel efficiency.
