A real eye-catcher!
Transports Alinès, located in Rochefort, France, has just added two particularly well-equipped MAN TGX 18.580 Individual Lion vehicles and an MAN TGE to its fleet. The new vehicles are certain to attract attention, as well they should.
The green design with the stylised lion catches the eye immediately – especially when the three new MAN vehicles are assembled together in the yard at Alinès. But even alone, each of the three MANs still makes an impression.
“Vehicles that are out of the ordinary” – this was the express remit that Felipe Gomes, director of Transports Alinès, gave to NEGOLOC and NEGO Trucks, two businesses that are part of the Phelippeau Group, which were commissioned with providing special equipment for the MAN TGX 18.580 Individual Lion vehicles.
“We wanted vehicles that set themselves apart from the normal range. We are very satisfied with the result, and we will be proud to be on the road in France with these two MAN TGX Individual Lion trucks – this won’t go unnoticed.”
Only the best for the drivers
It is also important to Felipe that his drivers, who are usually on the road for several days at a time, are as comfortable as possible: “The new MAN TGX is very comfortable and spacious,” meaning that it meets Felipe Gomes’ requirements precisely, and those of his drivers Dylan and Pierre, who are on the road with the two MAN TGXs. With a microwave, coffee machine, fridge, and TV, the cab offers everything they could need to make day-to-day life on the road as comfortable as possible. The two of them also appreciate the MAN EasyControl package, which gives them access to certain functions via the underside of the driver’s door. In addition, they benefit from the many driving assistance systems that their MAN trucks offer. These include MAN EfficientCruise, MAN EfficientRoll, and the blind spot sensor – these keep them safe on the roads at all times.
“I have been in this business since I was 18, and it makes me very proud to be able to put my drivers behind the wheels of these MAN vehicles.” Felipe Gomes knows that he has made a good choice with the two MAN TGX Individual Lion trucks. He has also ordered an MAN TGE in the distinctive green design to complement the pair. Equipped with every tool it could possibly need, it will be put to use maintaining the fleet. When the trio are together in the yard, they have all eyes on them – and all three vehicles will surely do the same when at customers’ premises or on the road.
