At the haulage and storage company Hans Möller Spedition & Lagerung, MAN is a part of the company’s history
The overall concept is the reason why the company has been using MAN’s vehicles for over 60 years. Hans Möller Spedition & Lagerung recently acquired an MAN TGX – the company’s 150th MAN vehicle.
Hans Möller founded the haulage company that bears his name in 1958 in Fahrenkrug, Schleswig‑Holstein. For almost all of this time, the family-run business has been using MAN trucks. It started in 1959 with an MAN 520 with a payload of seven tonnes and which company founder Hans Möller bought to deal with the large quantities of glass containers that he was transporting. 62 years later, it is an MAN TGX 18.470 4×2 BLS that will strengthen the company’s fleet as its 150th MAN vehicle. Together with his son Ben, the owner Matthias Möller took delivery of the new MAN vehicle in December 2020.
Never left in the lurch as a business owner!
“With MAN, everything is just right! They have knowledgeable sales representatives, expert workshops and a good product. What more could a business owner ask for?” says Matthias Möller explaining the reasons why he is so impressed with the partnership with MAN. This explains why the fleet, which currently includes 35 drawbar and semitrailer combinations, is mostly made up of MAN trucks.
State-of-the-art, environmentally friendly and reliable vehicles are important to the family business. In addition, the family is striving to improve the business’ working process wherever possible, in particular in terms of sustainability. One example of this is a PV system on their hall roofs. In 1964, company founder Hans Möller even purchased one of the first mobile phones so that he could manage the fleet even when he was on the move. This openness toward and the use of state-of-the-art technologies has been characteristic of the company from the beginning, and as a result, the fleet keeps on being expanded with MAN’s latest trucks to this day.

You can see both of them here with my father’s first truck,” says Matthias Möller with pride, referring to the company’s rich history, in which MAN has played an important part.
