The jewel in my professional life

Professional driver Frank Nörenberg and his MAN TGX Truck Champion

Three beautiful MAN trucks took the top podium places in the national edition of the MAN Truck Champion competition. As the most beautiful among the beautiful: the MAN TGX 18.510 with professional driver Frank Nörenberg, who had entered the competition for Decker Transporte under the nickname “Deckensgarage”.

‘”Do you know that you won first place?” Professional driver Frank Nörenberg could hardly believe his luck when his boss Dennis Decker told him that he had won the national MAN Truck Champion competition. In fact, since then he has been able to show himself on the road with the MAN that was officially voted Germany’s most beautiful truck. However, the conspicuously designed truck already attracted a lot of attention even before the title. With the elaborate airbrush motifs designed by airbrush artist Roland Just, the MAN TGX from the current MAN Truck Generation immediately catches the eye. Frank’s dream vehicles, a MAN F8 and a MAN F2000, are depicted on it. “The best trucks of all time for me,” says Frank. And because he has driven both models himself, part of his own driver’s story – which has now already lasted 30 years – was documented on his latest MAN.

“It will be the jewel of my professional driver career,”

Frank says confidently.

Junior boss Dennis Decker sees the visually individualistic design freedom that he gives reliable employees like Frank as “the ultimate recognition for his drivers”. When the new and very stylish MAN TGX 18.510 stood on the company premises in front of Dennis and Frank fresh from the clear coat booth and they had heard about MAN’s competition for the Truck Champion, it was clear to both: “We’re on board!”

A decision that proved worthwhile not only in terms of the German title. Encouraged by the delight of winning the national voting, the two of them naturally wanted to go even higher with the supertruck. With the European title and the ADAC Truck Grand Prix in mind, they gave everything once more. With success: at international level, the noble airbrush Lion only had to let the first-placed “White Lion” of the Polish participant Pawel Pabich pass it by. And of course, Frank was also proud to present his supertruck to the visitors of the Truck Festival at the Nürburgring.
