Completely delighted with her Lion

Professional driver Yvonne Mosandl receives lots of compliments about her well-maintained MAN. Like the MAN brand itself, it is very dear to her heart. She fell in love with the idea of driving trucks as a child. Find out what has become of this idea here.

Yvonne sat next to her father in the cab as often as possible: “The holidays were the best time to travel with him,” remembers the young woman from Erding, Germany. Even then, she knew that she would drive herself later. “I love driving, and of course it’s great to be able to connect that with the truck,” as she reports today from her everyday work as a truck driver. She finds her daily work with the truck fulfilling, and it accompanies her into her leisure time, when she also likes to look after the styling of her MAN TGX EVOLION with 510 hp, tinkering with various details and attending truck meetings.

“My Lion and I have been to many truck festivals this year,” says Yvonne. For her, this is a nice balance to everyday life, where she has only little time to keep in touch with friends. So she enjoys meeting friends at events, getting to know new people and finding some inspiration for new truck styling options. She likes to do this in her spare time together with her boyfriend.

“I am fascinated by trucks and I love converting them and giving them a personal touch.”

She has therefore adapted some things according to her individual preferences in the cab of her current vehicle in particular. It now “just feels good,” enthuses the 39-year-old. And she still has lots more ideas on how to achieve her very personal MAN EVOLION perfection. As a team, the driver and her Lion transport overseas containers for the Anzing-based company Bachmann. “I bring the ordered empty containers to the customers and loaded containers for unloading.” She is always happy to meet new people and experience a lot of new things.

Her distinct love of MAN also includes a collection of all kinds of things bearing the three letters, such as a Lion tattoo that the 39-year-old had done. She also laughs at her obsession with keeping her Lion clean, for which she is already quite well known. Yvonne tries to make her MAN shine whenever possible. “I like it when everything is tip-top,” she says. “I always receive compliments on it and I’m naturally very happy about that!”
