For more safety and fun when driving

The driving safety training from MAN ProfiDrive^® is not just for beginner drivers, there is also plenty to be gained for professionals behind the wheel. Trucker Julia Beitler tested the certified training programme and was extremely impressed by her day with the MAN professionals.

“Even if you drive well and safely, in everyday working life you forget things or do not use things that can make driving even safer and better,” concludes Julia Beitler after attending the driving safety training course with MAN ProfiDrive^®. After all, unforeseen situations can arise at any time – and it is then helpful to have a strategy ready. After completing the certified programme herself, Julia says that the training unit teaches this clearly and in a practical way.

Julia was positively surprised by the content and demonstration material provided by the training course with the training professionals:

“There were five different MAN truck models available, which all participants were allowed to drive once,”

she reports enthusiastically. And it was extremely exciting to be able to develop a feeling for the different vehicle types, which differed in weight class, semitrailer or tyre type. Julia, who stars in the TV series “Trucker Babes”, was also particularly impressed by the presentation of theory and practice: “The trainer explained everything so clearly that the instructions from the theoretical part could be put directly into practice,” she says. “I can really recommend the training,” she adds. She would even like every driver to attend such training every five years to refresh their knowledge.

Julia can also recommend the training course for another reason: “I had so much fun! You wouldn’t do many of the manoeuvres with your own truck,” she laughs. And with emergency braking and sharp cornering exercises, it was possible to test both personal limits and those of the vehicle to the full.
